About Ephesians 4:32
Paul names a chain of cause: God has forgiven you in Christ; therefore, forgive one another. The forgiveness we extend is downstream of the forgiveness we have received. Notice the order — kind, tender hearted, forgiving. Kindness is the day-to-day texture; tenderness is the underlying disposition; forgiveness is the costly act when it's needed. The pattern is offered not as a high spiritual achievement but as the ordinary shape of life inside the church. For anyone holding an old wound, the question the verse pushes gently is not can you forgive but will you let the forgiveness you've received move through you to someone else.
Both translations, side by side
WEB · World English Bible
"And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
KJV · King James Version
"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgave you."
How the translations differ: The WEB is a modern public-domain revision of the 1901 ASV; the KJV dates to 1611. The KJV uses tenderhearted, even, for, christ's, while the WEB renders these as tender, hearted, each, other. Both translate the same underlying Greek or Hebrew text — the differences are stylistic, not theological.
